If new source storage resources were added, or existing source storage resources were deleted or modified after you add a remote system and before you create an import session to the source system, you need to re-discover the source storage system resources. Select the relevant remote system and then select Discover to re-discover the source system resources.

Steps

Select a storage system that supports PowerMax File migration.

Remote Systems, select a remote system, and click
Modify.
A page listing prerequisites is displayed.

Next.

On the
Network Configuration page, view the configuration properties for the selected network.

Next.

On the
Register Remote eNAS page, modify any of the following properties:
- Remote CS IP Address—The management IP address (for connection) of the remote storage system
- Username—Username
- Password—Password

Click
Next.

Review the
Summary page.

Do one of the following:
- Click
Run Now to perform the operation now.
- Expand
Run Now, and click
Add to Job List to add this task to the job list, from which you can schedule or run the task at your convenience. For more information, see
